Job Overview
Full‑time Program Coordinator to plan, design, evaluate, modify, and coordinate programs for medical students at UC College of Medicine Office of Student Affairs.
Essential Functions
Design, create, and conduct seminars, classes, workshops or other instructional programs.
Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives; review objectives, identify problems, prioritize solutions, and develop action steps for program improvement.
Provide financial administrative support for program initiatives.
Develop, administer, and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to recruit students and program participants.
Interact with staff, faculty, external agencies, and other university departments.
Conduct research and analyze relevant literature and benchmark information to develop grant proposals, new program ideas, and propose program changes.
Provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non‑exempt staff, including hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, and approving time off.
Perform related duties based on departmental needs; this job description may be changed at any time.
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree or five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or specialized training may be used in lieu of the degree.
Required Experience
One (1) year of program coordination experience.
Compensation
Competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000, dependent on experience.
