Responsibilities
Schedule patient appointments with accuracy and care
Verify insurance and handle patient registration
Manage co‑pay collections and balance daily/weekly deposits
Support front‑office operations and serve as a resource for colleagues
Assist with limited coding and charge entry as needed
Perform complex activities such as scheduling, insurance verification, registration, balancing of co‑pay money and monthly or weekly deposits
Act as a resource for other staff, problem‑solve independently, mentor others, and take initiative
Interface regularly with physicians and other staff

Qualifications
Education
High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience
Minimum of one year of health care experience or equivalent education
Preferred: Admitting, Medical Records/Health Information, Clerical support, Familiarity with Medical Terminology
Skills
Strong communication skills
Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions
Licensure
BLS certification preferred
