This role involves managing patient registration for all providers, verifying insurance details, updating contact information, and handling collections for coinsurance, private pay, and deductibles.
Additional responsibilities include copying, faxing, and scanning documents as needed, as well as scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling patient appointments. You will also coordinate referrals by calling and scheduling specialist visits. The ability to multitask efficiently is essential.
Education
Experience in patient registration and clerical duties is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Prior experience verifying insurance and managing patient information is advantageous.
