Responsibilities
RN Seasonal Temp - OR
The RN provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides care during the intraoperative phase of the patient's surgical journey and functions as a Circulating Nurse and/or Scrub RN, serving as the patient's primary advocate while the patient is under anesthesia.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BSN preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care specialty nursing.
One (1) to three (3) years of operating room experience required.
Skills
Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills.
Ability to function effectively in high stress, fast paced environments.
Leads Universal Protocol / Time Out.
Maintains continuous patient advocacy while the patient is anesthetized.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Compassion, resilience, and adaptability.
License / Certification
Current FL state nursing license.
Specialty certification preferred (AORN).
Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire) as required by specialty.
