Qualifications

High School Graduate and one of the following:

Completed 60 credit hours at an accredited college or university

Obtained an Associate’s degree or higher

Passed a paraprofessional academic assessment test

REPORTS TO:

ALE Classroom Facilitator

JOB GOAL:

To aid and support the ALC Classroom Facilitator in the effective implementation of ALE programming.

Performance Responsibilities

Reinforce instructional activities with students as prescribed by the ALE Classroom Facilitator.

Assist in the preparation and effective implementation of all teaching and learning activities in ALCs or other ALE programming tiers.

Provide effective student supervision at all times and assist in the coordination and effective implementation of all activities under the direction of the classroom facilitator.

Inform site facilitator when supplies are low.

Assist in the preparation of instructional lessons as directed by the ALE classroom facilitator.

Participate in in-service, professional, and/or faculty meetings as directed by the ALE classroom facilitator or building principal.

Reports to and is responsible to the site facilitator.

Other duties as assigned.

Terms of Employment
Salary Range:

Range 7 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($13.30/hr. - $25.18/hr. depending on relevant experience)

Length of Contract:

181 contract days

FLSA Status:

Non-exempt
