Brief Job Overview
The School of Arts & Humanities is expanding its pool of qualified adjunct instructors. Opportunities may exist to teach a flexible schedule that includes daytime and evening assignments. Services are contracted on a semester or term basis.

The Stockton University Visual Arts Program on the Galloway campus seeks adjunct instructors to teach 2000‑level Graphic Design 1 and 3000‑level Web Design (Design for WordPress) courses. Classes are 2.5 hours and meet twice a week, with time slots on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, ranging from 8:30 to 11:00, 11:20 to 1:50, 2:00 to 4:30, or 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

While all services are contracted on a semester or term basis, these courses are part of the core Visual Arts curriculum. Successful candidates will be considered for ongoing and consistently scheduled teaching opportunities.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate courses as scheduled

Access student work and provide timely feedback

Use Blackboard to support the course

Support Stockton University’s student‑centered vision and mission

Required Qualifications

M.F.A. degree in subject area or related field

Previous college‑level teaching experience in subject area or related field
