We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to manage and coordinate HR operations across the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico).
This role ensures accurate execution of employee lifecycle processes, payroll coordination, compliance tracking, and HR data integrity across multiple countries and vendors.
You will act as the operational backbone of the People function, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability in a fast-growing, international environment.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle (Multi-Country)
Execute onboarding and offboarding processes across US, Canada, and Mexico
Coordinate with local stakeholders and vendors
Maintain accurate and complete employee records
Payroll Coordination (Multi-Country)
Prepare and validate payroll inputs (salary changes, bonuses, commissions)
Coordinate with payroll providers across regions
Track missing or inconsistent data and resolve discrepancies
Support payroll reviews and ensure timely processing
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with local requirements (e.g., I-9 in the US, employment standards in Canada and Mexico)
Manage HR policies and ensure they are up to date and consistently applied
Maintain and update the HR intranet portal (policies, guidelines, key documents)
Track key compliance deadlines and requirements
Ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and audit-ready
HR Systems & Data Integrity
Ensure consistency between payroll, HRIS, and internal records
Track headcount, changes, and reporting needs
Support audits and internal reviews
Employee Support & People Services
Act as first point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, documentation, HR systems, and processes
Coordinate with vendors or internal teams when escalation is needed
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize processes
Leverage AI tools to improve People Services efficiency, including drafting and automating responses to common employee requests, supporting knowledge base and FAQ creation for self-service, improving documentation clarity and accessibility, and identifying repetitive tasks that can be automated or streamlined
Immigration Support
Coordinate employment-based immigration processes with external counsel and vendors
Maintain accurate immigration records and tracking (expirations, renewals, key dates)
Act as liaison between employees, HR BPs, legal counsel, and vendors
Ensure immigration compliance is reflected in HR systems and employee records
Required Experience
3–6 years in People Operations / HR Operations / HR Administration
Experience supporting multiple countries (US required, Canada and/or Mexico a plus)
Familiarity with payroll coordination and HR systems (HRIS, payroll platforms)
Strong understanding of operational HR processes in a scaling environment
