Project Manager- Industrial

Location: Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a Project Manager to support our industrial construction team. The role involves overseeing project management, contract administration, client relationship management, and schedule and budget control for large commercial and industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

Positively engage with customers and develop, grow, and maintain customer relationships; deliver high‑quality services and deliverables that meet customer requirements.

Administer contracts as contract administrator, employer’s agent, or project manager.

Assist in the qualification and selection of design consultants, contractors, and other vendors.

Manage communications with project stakeholders.

Meet with program team members on a regular basis to review progress and costs.

Apply cost‑management practices and provide cost variance reporting.

Review and approve change orders.

Develop project schedules and regularly update progress and delivery milestones, identify risks, and proactively address potential delays.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.

Review budgets and schedules and work toward resolving any conflicts or issues.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.

Experience, Knowledge, and Key Skills

5+ years of commercial or industrial construction project experience on large and complex projects.

Sound project management and/or program management experience.

Ability to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent, and/or Project Manager.

Clear understanding of legislation impacting building contracts.

Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.

Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.

Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.

Strong problem‑solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills.

High proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
