Commercial Project Manager in Tampa

Job Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical aspects of projects to profitable completion
Call on General Contractors for new projects
Generate sales from General Contractors
Develop relationship with clients
Gain repeat client business
Use Accubid to estimate and generate new proposals on commercial construction projects
Collaborate with Bates estimating staff to generate new proposals on commercial construction projects
Schedule manpower including subcontractors for proper and timely installation of respective scope
Assure quality workmanship
Close projects out in good order
Project Management Tasks
Familiarize self with construction schedule, and ensure the end date is clear to the job super
Ensure Bates is on schedule to meet the GC milestones and end date
Visit jobsites to ensure all staff, materials, and equipment are in-line with current needs
Train Job Supers to Bates standards
Assist Job Supers in estimating labor hours remaining to complete projects
Help Job Supers bring jobs in within budget
Coordinate and handle General Contractor’s needs
Monitor work in-place as project progresses
Evaluate and prepare Change Orders as required
Coordinate with Purchasing department on job setup and submittals
Compensation
Position is a salary position
Review following 90 day introductory period.
