Job Overview
The Enrollment Services Specialist is an early‑career position that supports prospective and current students, families, faculty, and staff by providing student‑centered service across enrollment functions. The position includes work at all three campuses and community outreach in areas of financial aid, student accounts, records, and registration. The role focuses on high‑quality customer service, problem solving, and communication.

Essential Functions

Counsel students and other constituencies with expertise in areas such as cashiers, collections, financial aid, student accounts, records, and registration.

Manage all service‑related inquiries and analyze the status of student records and academic standing.

Resolve complex problems, working with appropriate staff to develop and implement intervention strategies using professional counseling techniques.

Make expert referrals as needed.

Coordinate programs for students and other customers (e.g., financial aid/scholarship, daily web/blog communications/updates; special recruitment events/showcases).

Coordinate proactive outreach efforts to improve student retention.

Design, develop, and implement technology‑based self‑service tools.

Mentor new Enrollment Services Specialists, mentor or supervise student workers, and participate in special projects as needed.

Perform related duties based on departmental need; this job description may be changed at any time.

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree.

Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can substitute for the education requirement.

Required Trainings/Certifications
None required.

Required Experience
One (1) year of experience in counseling and/or as a service provider.

Additional Qualifications Considered
Experience in higher education sectors such as financial aid, customer service, bursar, registrar, advising, or related customer service roles.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Office environment with no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
