Opportunity Overview
We have an immediate opening for an
OR
Surgical Tech
to join our team at
RMA of New York
in both
Eastside, New York and Brooklyn, New York .
Schedule:
Part-time hours 20 to 28 hours a week; Monday through Friday; Schedules vary depending on the day (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time); Weekend and Holiday rotation.
Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the
OR Surgical Tech will:
Prepare and maintaining a sterile field with the required instruments and supplies to complete a designated surgical procedure efficiently and cost-effectively
Prepare, setup, and scrub for routine and urgent surgical procedures and prepare patients for surgery
Observe vital signs
Other related functions on an as needed basis
Proper maintenance of the procedure rooms and ordering of supplies
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.
Qualifications and Skills Include:
High School or equivalent
A Surgical Technician Certification is preferred
Medical Assistant Certification is allowed
National Operating Room Technician Certification (CORT) is preferred
At least one year experience in acute care operating room or assisting in procedures as a Surgical Tech is required
Open to non-certified medical professionals
Must be detailed oriented
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Smart, outgoing, organized and enjoy working with people
Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills are required
Bi-lingual language skills are a plus; interest in the field of reproductive medicine is preferred
A current BLS/ACLS Certification is optional
