Greenville Health & Rehab Center is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled rehabilitation team. This is a great opportunity for a clinician looking for consistent PRN hours at the end of the week while making a meaningful impact on patients’ independence and quality of life.
Job Summary
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role includes implementing individualized treatment plans, supporting patients in activities of daily living, and promoting functional independence.
Responsibilities
Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
Provide hands‑on therapy to improve patients’ ability to perform daily activities
Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT
Assist patients with adaptive techniques and use of equipment
Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
Educate patients, families, and caregivers as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications
Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
SNF/long‑term care experience preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
