Certified Sterile Processing Tech (PRN)
Work location: Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expwy North TX 75013.
Work hours: PRN | Rotating Shift | Variable shifts and includes on call requirements.
What You Need
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
1 Year sterile processing experience preferred
Experience working with Belimed and Censitrac software preferred
Sterile Processing certification preferred
CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (Upon Hire Req)
CBSPD - Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution (Upon Hire Req)
CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Upon Hire Req)
What You Will Do
Perform scanning of instrument trays for location and creation of count sheets/labels.
Demonstrate proper assembly technique for instrument trays.
Demonstrate wrapping/containing of instruments/tray.
Perform scanning of instrument trays to track location using the instrument tracking system.
Demonstrate decontamination process according to policy and procedure. Cleaning of instruments manually using automated cleaners.
Ultrasonic washer
Instrument washer
Cart washer
Perform tests and document as directed to ensure proper operation of washers and Emergency Eyewash and Shower.
Demonstrate the proper loading technique for sterilization method.
