
Sterile Processing Technician Full Time Day

Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.
Works under supervision the Central Tech II processes, sterilizes equipment and instrumentation. The Tech II issues and receives supplies and equipment according to established procedures and maintains an accurate inventory to reflect a real-time status. The Tech II is responsible for receiving and responding to all calls for product, equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
Coursework/Training: Must have successfully completed a recognized Central Service Technician course and keep Continuing Education Units (CEU) updated and on file.
Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or
Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
2 years' experience in Central Service.
Experience in general office practices and procedures, purchasing practices, business ethics and prudent buyer concepts.

The wage range for this position is $24.00 - $33.73 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
