Field Service Technician‑Wiring
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Field Service Technician‑Wiring based in Sheboygan Falls, WI, to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the end‑to‑end installation, wiring, and maintenance of IP camera systems, Door Access Systems, and low‑voltage cabling at client sites across our various lines of business. As a mobile representative of our company, you will ensure high‑quality craftsmanship while navigating diverse environments, from professional offices to outdoor installations.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Integration:
Pull, path, and terminate Cat5e/Cat6 cabling; install, mount, and configure IP cameras and recording hardware (NVRs). Install and configure door access systems. Install network equipment such as point‑to‑point, wireless access points, etc.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and repair hardware and connectivity issues on‑site.
Field Mobility:
Operate a company vehicle safely to travel to various client sites; manage on‑board inventory and tools.
Client Interaction:
Professional communication with on‑site points of contact to ensure project specs are met and training is provided on equipment use.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate logs of hours, materials used, and site photos via our internal ticketing system.
Qualifications
Experience:
2+ years of experience in low‑voltage wiring, security camera installation, door access systems, or structured cabling.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with power tools, network and camera testers, and basic networking concepts.
License:
Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
Availability:
Willingness to travel regionally (using a company vehicle) to different client locations.
Background check:
Required due to compliance requirements.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
above shoulder height as part of normal job duties.
Ability to communicate effectively
with clients, coworkers, and management, which includes speaking, hearing, and understanding to exchange information and resolve issues.
Ability to use a laptop and office equipment , including operating a keyboard and related devices for extended periods.
