Support the administrative, financial, and operational needs of the Resource Management department within the Fowler College of Business while working closely with leadership and faculty staff.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Coordination & Office Operations:

Manage faculty compensation processes, student employment programs, and college-wide services, ensuring timely completion of work.

Financial Tracking, Reconciliation & Budget Support:

Track and reconcile payroll and program expenditures, prepare budget transfers, and maintain accurate records.

Policy Interpretation & Procedural Compliance:

Apply university policies for payroll, procurement, and administrative processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Data Management, Recordkeeping & Reporting:

Maintain electronic records, compile financial and operational data, and prepare reports for decision‑making.

Communication & Work Coordination:

Serve as central contact for workflows, coordinating among departments, faculty, staff, and external partners.

Procurement & Administrative Support:

Process purchases, maintain documentation, and coordinate with vendors to deliver services and resources effectively.

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication; proficiency in drafting correspondence and reports.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Clerical, administrative, and financial experience with budget policy knowledge.

Basic business math for financial data tracking and simple projections.

In‑depth knowledge of university policies, procedures, and office systems.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects independently.

Effective interpersonal skills with stakeholders and confidential matters.

Experience building vendor relationships focused on service and collaboration.

Preferred proficiency with PeopleSoft, Oracle, Adaptive, and OnBase.

Salary:

$4,367 – $6,362 per month (Step 1 – Step 20); Step placement based on qualifications.
