The Role
We are seeking a curious, analytical, and forward-thinking HR Summer Intern to support key initiatives focused on
innovation, process optimization, and digital enablement
across the Human Resources function. This role offers hands-on experience in improving HR operations, enhancing employee experience, and contributing to transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with HR teams (e.g., Talent, Total Rewards, Inclusion & Belonging) to
identify process improvement opportunities
across the employee lifecycle
Map and analyze current HR processes; recommend enhancements to improve
efficiency, scalability, and user experience
Support the development and documentation of
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
and process flows
Leverage tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS platforms) to analyze data and generate insights
Assist in piloting and implementing
automation or digital solutions
(e.g., workflow tools, AI-enabled solutions)
Conduct research on
emerging HR technologies and industry best practices
and apply to real cases
Contribute to change management and communication plans for new initiatives
Prepare presentations and updates for HR leadership
Learning Objectives
Gain exposure to
end-to-end HR operations and transformation initiatives
Develop skills in
process mapping, continuous improvement, and data analysis
Understand how HR drives
business outcomes through innovation and efficiency
Build executive communication and storytelling capabilities
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in
Human Resources, Business Administration or Data Analytics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Interest in
process improvement, HR technology, or digital transformation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Exposure to process improvement methodologies (e.g.,
Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking )
Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio)
Familiarity with HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors)

This is a
hybrid role
designed to balance flexibility with team collaboration.
Schedule:
The intern is expected to be
in-office 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday
, with the remaining 2 days working remotely. Working from either
Shelton, CT
or
NYC.
Culture:

Travel:
Potential travel, as needed, for company meetings or events;
2 positions are available. Pay Rate is $25/hour
