Machine Operator — Press Operator (1st Shift)

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m. — 3:00 p.m. (1st Shift)
Pay:
$16.37 per hour

Responsibilities
Set up and operate press machines following established procedures and specifications.
Load materials onto the press and adjust machine settings to achieve optimal results.
Monitor press operations, troubleshoot minor issues, and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality output.
Inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality; perform routine measurements and checks.
Perform basic maintenance on press equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Adhere to all safety protocols, guidelines, and quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily production targets.
Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, scrap, and downtime.
Keep the press area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Follow company policies and procedures related to safety and quality control.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot press equipment.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and blueprints.
Solid understanding of quality control principles and measurement techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.
Effective problem‑solving skills and ability to react quickly to production issues.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
