Finance AI-Strategy Intern
Location: New York office (onsite) – 20‑25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Compensation
Unpaid internship. Lunch and transportation allowance provided.
Role Summary
The Finance AI-Strategy Intern supports the Finance & Accounting department and assists in financial engineering using AI tools.
Responsibilities
Support department efforts in designing, implementing, and optimizing AI use for finance daily operations.
Assist in researching new AI‑driven processes, ensuring alignment with payment processing industry standards and best practices.
Help configure, test, and validate AI features in finance daily operations and tasks.
Collaborate with the Data Analyst to analyze performance data, identify trends, and present insights and proposals to senior finance members.
Identify potential AI risks and mitigation strategies to ensure projects align with company goals.
Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Finance department.
Qualifications
Authorized to work in the U.S. at hire; E‑Verify employer.
Analytical mindset, comfortable working with complex systems.
Ability to work in fast‑paced technical environments.
Currently in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
Prior experience with data analytics and automation tools.
Prior experience or coursework with AI tools, concepts, strategies, and implementations.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to work on projects from design to execution.
