What You’ll Do
Set up, program, and operate Citizen Swiss-type CNC lathes
Produce small, high-precision parts with tight tolerances
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process docs
Select tooling, optimize feeds/speeds, perform tool offsets
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
Troubleshoot and make real-time machining adjustments
Collaborate with engineering and production teams
Lead training and help develop SOPs for the team
Support equipment transfer and facility startup (may include short-term travel to Florida)
What You Bring
5+ years of Swiss CNC machining experience
Mastery of tight tolerances (±0.0001" preferred)
Experience with stainless, aluminum, titanium, and similar materials
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving savvy
Attention to detail and a quality-driven mindset
Bonus Points
Familiarity with "L" series Swiss machines
Background in outdoor, medical, or aerospace manufacturing
Lean/continuous improvement know-how
Passion for fly fishing or outdoor gear
