Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay:
$24 – $28 per hour

Summary
Clean Harbors in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Facility Foreman to join our team. This role serves as a front-line leader responsible for overseeing daily operations within one or more departments while ensuring Health & Safety, compliance, and operational excellence are always the top priority. This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for someone who leads by example and thrives in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
Acts as a first‑line leader overseeing daily operations of assigned departments within the facility
Drives a strong safety culture and ensures compliance with all Health & Safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Oversees and ensures completion of all required operational paperwork and data entry
Maintains a clean, organized, and inspection‑ready work environment
Communicates and escalates operational, safety, or compliance concerns to leadership as needed
Assists with operating light and heavy equipment when required
Trains, mentors, and supports new and existing employees to ensure safe and efficient operations
Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or some college preferred
5–7 years of experience in industrial, environmental, or facility operations
Proven leadership experience in a hands‑on operations environment
Rail experience required in drum handling, tank farm operations, truck loading/unloading, or wastewater processing
Ability to obtain required site‑specific certifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Windows‑based systems and general computer use
Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Medium work: ability to lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment as needed
PPE required up to 75% of the time; respirator use as needed
Must be able to work in loud industrial environments and maintain situational awareness
Supervisory Responsibility : This position provides direct oversight of operational staff and supports hiring, training, scheduling, and performance feedback.
