Facility Foreman — Deer Trail, CO
Summary
The Facility Foreman will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the facility while ensuring all Health & Safety, compliance, and operational standards are met.
This position will handle all duties associated with the inspections and repairs of the treatment building and tanks at the Deer Trail landfill to keep them functioning within permit requirements.
This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for driving safe, efficient operations and supporting team performance on site.
Pay & Schedule
$38.00 — $45.00 per hour (DOE)
Monday — Friday
Responsibilities
Act as a first‑line leader overseeing one or more operational departments within the facility
Ensure all inspections, maintenance, and repairs of treatment building and tank systems are completed in accordance with permit requirements
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all Clean Harbors policies and procedures
Oversee daily operations including drum handling, tank farm operations, truck loading/unloading, and wastewater treatment processes
Ensure all paperwork, tracking, and data entry are completed accurately and on time
Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection‑ready facility at all times
Communicate and escalate any operational, safety, or compliance concerns to leadership
Operate light and heavy equipment as needed
Train, mentor, and support new and existing team members
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
5–7 years of experience in facility operations, industrial, or environmental services
OSHA 24 or 40‑hour certification (or ability to obtain)
DOT/RCRA knowledge required
Experience working around tank systems, treatment operations, or landfill environments strongly preferred
Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead from the floor
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform medium‑duty work (lifting up to 50 lbs.)
Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and equipment operation
Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments
