Kindergarten Readiness Camp Administrator
Required Training Date: June 5, 2026
Dates: June 8, 2026 - June 26, 2026 (No School June 19th) in addition to hours required for planning and organizing
Days/Time: Monday Friday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Location: Longfellow Elementary
We are excited to offer a foundational learning opportunity for incoming WE kindergarteners, focused on early literacy grounded in the Science of Reading, foundational mathematics, and executive functioning skills to support a successful start to kindergarten.
The Bootcamp administrator is responsible for all planning and administration of the bootcamp, including hiring, scheduling, parent communication, registration, teacher orientation, daily program supervision and any other duties associated with operating the Kindergarten Readiness Camp.
Qualifications
Elementary and/or Middle School Administration License
Elementary and/or Middle School teaching or administrative experience required
Proven leadership experiences
Effective communication skills
Effective instructional leadership skills
Problem solving skills
Highly organized
Effective at student and adult supervision
Confident and comfortable with difficult situations in a school setting (student discipline, emergency protocols, etc.)
Willingness to coordinate with community agencies (i.e., YMCA, libraries)
