CJ 4DPLEX America is seeking an Associate Manager, Business Development to support the continued expansion of
SCREENX
and
4DX , two of the most immersive and fastest‑growing premium film formats in the global exhibition industry.
Based in
Burbank , this role plays a key part in driving business growth across
North and Latin America
by supporting new exhibitor relationships, expanding existing partnerships, and managing cross‑functional initiatives with internal teams. Roles and Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Support
Research and analyze new and existing exhibitor accounts to support sales and expansion initiatives
Identify, evaluate, and assess new sites suitable for
4DX
and
SCREENX
installations, including market conditions, box office performance, demographics, and consumer spending trends
Monitor industry trends and proactively identify new business opportunities across North and Latin America
Support outreach efforts with existing and prospective exhibitors to build relationships, advance discussions, and help move deals forward
Develop compelling business presentations and pitch materials for internal and external meetings
Project Management & Cross‑Functional Leadership
Serve as a key liaison between Business Development and Technical teams as project ownership increases
Manage projects end to end—from planning through execution—ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely delivery
Coordinate meetings and communications among exhibitors, partners, internal teams, and senior leadership
Process Improvement & Reporting
Audit and enhance existing trackers, templates, and tools to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and increase automation
Build dashboards and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve visibility, reduce handoffs, and minimize errors across teams
Create weekly and quarterly sales forecast reports to provide pipeline visibility and reduce reporting inaccuracies
Prepare recurring reports, including monthly targets and new business opening updates, for senior management
Operational & Administrative Support
Assist with planning and coordination of industry trade shows and events
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
5+ years of experience in business development, sales operations, consulting, or the entertainment/exhibition industry
Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail with a process‑driven, analytical mindset
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Tableau, Teams); experience with dashboards or CRM systems preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ROI analysis, forecasting, or pipeline management
Familiarity with cinema exhibition, premium film formats, or location‑based entertainment
Working knowledge of CRM, project management, or analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, Asana)
Intermediate to fluent Korean or Spanish language is a plus

Compensation ranges from $72,000 to $95,000. We adhere to all applicable local laws regarding salary transparency and disclose ranges where legally required. The final offer will depend on a variety of factors including market conditions, candidate experience, internal equity, and other relevant considerations.
