With a strong pipeline of work in the San Diego area, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and help drive successful project delivery.
Position Summary
The Commercial Construction Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously
Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met
Monitor project costs and manage budgets, change orders, and forecasts
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Conduct regular site visits and project meetings
Identify and mitigate project risks
Oversee project documentation, contracts, and reporting
Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial construction project management
Proven track record of successfully delivering ground-up and/or TI projects
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
