Inventory Specialist I

Job Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist I is responsible for receiving and shipping, issuing orders, and pulling and distributing parts for jobs, sales orders and work orders, cycle counting, organization and labeling of warehouse area.

Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Manage ERP system as it relates to receiving against purchase orders and inventory control

Assists in generating outbound shipments with UPS, DHL and DLS

Conducts daily cycle counts and makes adjustments in ERP system once confirmed by supervisor

Maintain environmental report and MTR distribution

Interacts with customer for all pick-up orders by contractors and ensures paperwork is signed and product picked up matches order

Loads or coordinates with forklift driver to load product for customer

Cross-Trained to back up the forklift driver and warehouse supervisor.

Maintain 5S standard in work environment

Promote a culture of proactive safety

Experience, Education, & License Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 1 year of related experience or working in production

Forklift experience, preferred

Skills & Abilities

Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word

Previous experience in a customer service role and working with a diverse team
