The Opportunity
This role is on a hybrid schedule in our Detroit or Charlotte office a few days each week and some remote days.
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Data, Analytics, and AI to join our dynamic team supporting HR. This role will lead the development of modern HR analytics and AI‑driven workforce intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will focus on building AI‑powered analytical applications, intelligent HR agents, and scalable workforce data models that transform HR data into actionable insights.
This position will drive development of analytics and AI capabilities using enterprise HR systems such as Workday and enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, leveraging Snowflake Cortex to enable generative AI, and natural language data exploration, and intelligent analytics.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data and analytics utilizing Python programming and automation, with deep hands‑on experience in SQL and Snowflake. You will play a key role in translating HR specific requirements into robust technical solutions, building automation, and developing AI‑driven applications and agents to drive innovation and efficiency across our organization.
The Work Itself
Translate HR requirements into scalable AI solutions by developing AI-powered analytical applications to provide insights into hiring, retention, workforce productivity, and organizational planning.
Lead development of AI agents that can query HR data from the enterprise data platforms to generate valuable insights.
Create a governed semantic layer with Snowflake Cortex (business metrics/dimensions/definitions) to standardize HR/Finance KPIs.
Use Snowflake Cortex to operationalize AI/GenAI (documentation generation, log summarization, anomaly narratives, assisted SQL/model development) with human review.
Design and develop automation workflows using Python and Snowflake features for HR analytics and AI.
Build, deploy, and optimize AI agents.
Integrate AI models into existing platforms and workflows.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Advance responsible AI practices by integrating governance, ethical considerations, and security into every stage of model development and deployment.
The Skills You Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
7 years relevant experience of equivalent combination of education and experience
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in machine learning and data science with demonstrated impact in applied, real‑world systems.
Extensive hands‑on experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake Cortex AI ecosystem.
Lead experimentation initiatives, leveraging A/B testing, and novel AI approaches to continuously improve model performance and business outcomes.
Strong coding skills in SQL and Python, with experience building maintainable, production‑grade ML/AI systems and proven experience in automation.
Experience with analytical engineering tools such as dbt.
Experience working in cloud data and ML platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, SageMaker, or equivalent environments.
Experience influencing technical direction beyond individual projects, including setting best practices, mentoring others, and driving alignment across teams.
Ability to proactively identify risks and gaps in AI systems (e.g., reliability, bias, safety, explainability, monitoring) and drive pragmatic solutions on a scale.
Proven ability to work with multiple partners and drive consensus on technical direction, standards, and trade‑offs across diverse stakeholders.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple initiatives and efforts.
Ability to respond quickly to a changing environment.

Individual’s position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
