Lead Programmer Analyst - SL3

Salary:

$57,151 - $70,000

Reporting within the Information Technology Services (ITS) Project Management Office (PMO), the IT Change & Compliance Analyst plays a key role in supporting and advancing good service management practices within Information Technology Services. This position focuses on strengthening operational processes, improving service delivery, and ensuring policy and compliance alignment across the organization. Core responsibilities include but are not limited to change management, development and maintenance of workflows, policy and inventory tracking, and support for regular compliance activities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO), technical teams, Information Security, and administrative partners to promote consistent processes, reliable services, and a culture of continuous improvement. The individual must be able to work in a team setting and provide a positive working environment and must be able to maintain data confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, FERPA, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

Change Management

Coordinate, facilitate, and continuously improve the ITS Change Management process.

Schedule, review, and track change requests to reduce risk and support operational stability.

Support change advisory discussions and maintain accurate documentation and communication.

Workflow Development & Administration

Within the ITSM platform - Build, maintain, and enhance workflows, forms, automations, and service catalog items.

Partner with functional and technical stakeholders to improve process usability and clarity.

Monitor workflow performance and recommend enhancements that increase efficiency and user satisfaction.

Policy Tracking & Documentation Alignment

Maintain a centralized inventory of ITS policies, standards, and procedures.

Track review cycles, updates, and version history to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Assist in promoting policy awareness and alignment with institutional requirements.

IT Asset Management - Server & Software Inventory Management

Develop and maintain a centralized, accurate inventory of servers and software assets.

Collaborate with technical teams to document ownership, lifecycle status, and support information.

Support lifecycle planning and provide reporting to inform operational decision-making.

Compliance & Audit Coordination

Plan, track, and organize annual ITS compliance activities and internal audit requirements.

Coordinate with Information Security to clarify ownership, evidence expectations, and audit scope.

Maintain documentation that supports regulatory, contractual, or policy-driven obligations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field; OR an Associate's degree with equivalent experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document processes and facilitate collaborative discussions

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities

Experience working in a customer-focused, service-oriented environment

Experience with common software tools, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration platforms

Experience using Customer Service Management (CSM) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as TeamDynamix, ServiceNow, or comparable tools

Demonstrated experience working in an analytical or data-driven environment, with the ability to interpret, organize, and communicate findings effectively

Preferred

Experience with TeamDynamix is highly desirable

Familiarity with ITIL concepts and frameworks; ITIL certification

Experience supporting change management, compliance, or process improvement initiatives

Knowledge of software or asset inventory practices
