Renewable Warehouse Specialist

What you will do:

The Solar Order Picker/Specialist is responsible for accurate picking of materials to support our solar energy orders.

This role is responsible for picking and assembling customer orders via an RF environment.

Operate proper equipment to retrieve items from high shelves and storage areas. Equipment may vary based on product.

Processing of order instructions correctly and accurately. Inspection of product for damage; report as needed.

Safely handle fragile and high-value components such as photovoltaic panels, inverters and energy storage.

Ergonomically transfer product boxes from racks to pallets.

Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to manage inventory levels and assist in warehouse management systems.

Experience working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.

Frequent lifting (up to 50–75 lbs.) safely and consistently throughout the day.

What you will bring:

3+ years of warehouse experience in solar, renewable products.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Team player with a collaborative mindset.

Knowledge of alternative energy or solar industry is preferred.

Forklift certification required.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.

Use of PPE as required.

Mix of warehouse and office work environments.

Location
This role is on-site in the San Leandro, CA branch.

Work hours
2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Salary Range
This is a non-exempt position that pays $22.00 - $27.00 an hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range of the role may differ based on the location of the role.
