Medical Administrative Assistant
Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking a detail oriented, people focused Medical Administrative Assistant to support our Medical Services Team. In this role, you'll manage patient scheduling, coordinate communication, and ensure providers have everything they need for effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule patient visits and ensure 95% of post-hospital discharges are booked within 7 days.
Manage appointment changes using the Just in Time scheduling system.
Handle incoming calls and route messages.
Coordinate medical document flow, including lab results and patient requests.
Support medical and nursing staff with mail processing, supply management, and general administrative tasks.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Strong customer service and de-escalation skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.
Ability to multitask, stay flexible, and exercise sound judgment.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently.
