Residential Window Estimator – Remote (Florida)

Residential Window Estimator
to the team.
U.S. WDS
and its affiliated companies are expanding across Florida, and we need someone who knows windows, understands Florida Building Code, and can turn plans into accurate, clean bids. This is a fully remote role, but candidates must be based in Florida.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for takeoffs, pricing, and putting together solid estimates for both custom homes and production builders. This role is critical to our growth, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in getting it right.
What You’ll Be Doing
Complete detailed window takeoffs from construction plans
Build accurate pricing, material lists, and proposals
Make sure all estimates align with Florida Building Code and local requirements
Work closely with sales, ops, builders, and vendors to clarify scope
Keep everything organized and documented
Help us improve and scale our estimating process
What We’re Looking For
Experience with Florida Building Code as it relates to residential windows (must have)
2–3+ years of estimating experience in windows or related field
Strong understanding of window systems, installation, and structural requirements
Ability to read plans and architectural drawings without handholding
Comfortable with estimating software and digital takeoff tools
Organized, responsive, and able to work independently
