Our Finance team works with teams across the company to ensure Danone continues to grow. By joining our Finance team, you will anticipate and evaluate the financial impact of decisions and find the right way forward. We are currently looking to hire an Analyst/Senior Analyst, Procurement FP&A based in either our White Plains, NY or Louisville, CO office.
Reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager - Procurement FP&A, we are looking for a strong finance professional managing financial reporting and analysis for procurement finance function. This is the key strategy position within Procurement Finance team.
Responsibilities
You will provide analytical support on financial performance, supporting the procurement finance team in understanding and managing the performance of variance analysis on overall procurement finance for Danone North America, including direct Raw and Packaging Materials, Co-manufacturing and Milk. Your high‑quality commentary will help communicate performance drivers and root causes of variance.
You will collaborate with other Procurement Finance, Supply Chain FP&A and SPOC teams to deliver various financial reporting requirements.
You will support the materials finance team in the Month-End close, Annual Operations Planning (AOP), Monthly forecasting and R&O, and standard setting processes from planning to reporting.
You will manage the month-end close and forecasting process of OMC, including but not limited to materials warehouse, freight costs, and waste.
You will assist new product and renovation set up process in Orsoft.
You will assist in the building of our standard pricing and budgeting through analyzing pricing trends, forecasting inflation impacts and understanding productivity impacts.
You will perform cross‑functional ad hoc requests to support business decisions making.
You will support the process improvement and digitalization journey of Procurement Finance team, to drive value adding analytics in PBI.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $75k-95k USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. Qualifications
You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
You have a minimum of 3-5 years working in finance or accounting, previous CPG Supply Chain Finance or Cost accounting experience preferred.
You have experience with COGS accounting and variance analysis.
You think systematically, have expert analytical skills and can deal with big data sets.
You have expert Excel skills, with the proven ability to produce high end work products suitable for analysis. SAP, Tagetik and PBI experience a plus.
You can manage high complexity, numerous projects and can set proper priorities.
You can work well on a team.
You can work well cross-functionally, helping to explain financial concepts to non-finance professionals.
