
Quality Control Manager

We have partnered with Global Player in the Fluid Sealing Industry. We are seeking a Quality Manager to assist in the planning, development, implementation, communication and maintenance of a company’s quality management systems, policies, documentation, data, and customer‑specific requirements. Reporting to Plant Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Quality Assurance
Conduct problem solving activities to resolve internal and external non conformances with permanent irreversible corrective action. This will be the major responsibility for this role
Develop, implement and oversee the quality assurance activities, including finished good inspections, audits, testing of raw materials, in‑process materials, quality control plans, procedures, and standards. Part inspection, including layout, in process, final, and receiving using all types of mechanical inspection
Quality Management System (QMS)
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards including customer requirements or industry standards
Ensure that the QMS is effectively integrated into all operational processes.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste and reduce variability.
Customer Focus
Act as a point of contact for quality‑related customer concerns and complaints.
Develop corrective and preventive actions to address customer feedback and improve customer satisfaction.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Stay updated with changes in regulations and standards affecting the manufacturing industry.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date quality documentation, including records of inspections, audits, and test results.
Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
Supplier Quality Management
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance with quality standards.
Other Requirements
Problem Solving Experience in Manufacturing Environment required
Experience with various measurement systems including CMM and performance of gage R&R studies
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks and obtain results working within strict time frames
Proficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to read and interpret assembly and component drawings and engineering specifications
