Responsibilities
The OR RN performs an initial assessment appropriate to the patient's clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, developmental level, and cultural and religious orientation. The RN identifies and prioritizes the need for further assessment based on the patient's clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, desire for care, and responses to any prior care.
Qualifications
One (1) year of operating room experience in an acute care facility and/or surgery center
Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Registered Nurse with current California RN license
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
CNOR preferred
