About the Facility
Austin Oaks Hospital is an 80-bed facility that offers a broad spectrum of psychiatric services for adults and adolescents. Located in South Austin, it provides an environment promoting crisis resolution and personal growth.

Responsibilities
Therapist-PRN at Inpatient Hospital responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Develop and write treatment plans and discharge summaries within established time frames and formats.

Serve as liaison with other disciplines, colleagues, physicians, families, and outside agencies.

Assess, design, structure, and implement therapeutic services that best meet the needs of patients and their families.

Work collaboratively as a treatment team member under direct supervision of the Clinical Services Director.

Must be licensed to practice psychotherapy in the State of Texas (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or under supervision for licensure (LMSW, LPC-I, or LMFT-A). Prior inpatient adult psychiatric experience preferred.

Qualifications
Education:

Masters Degree in Behavioral Health field.

Licensure / Certification:

Current State Licensure, Current CPR or BLS certification, Aggressive Behavior Management training within 90 days of hire date, Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP).

Experience:

At least 6 months work experience providing individual, group and family therapy, case management and discharge planning in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility; familiarity with ethical and legal issues regarding reporting of abuse and neglect. Prior inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
