Education and Experience
Minimum Required:
Registered Professional Nurse from an accredited school of nursing. Minimum 2 years of experience in Infection Control and management.
Preferred:
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
License and Certification
Minimum Required:
New York State Registered Nurse or eligible
Preferred:
Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC)
Work Environment
Well ventilated and lighted areas with some exposure to odors and other disagreeable factors associated with patient care. Travel of various sites involves exposure to weather conditions.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Mask, gown, eyewear is available for care per policy and procedure
