Deputy Nurse Manager/Clinical Lead Nurse
Private Nursing Home – 40 hours per week – Up to £25 per hour

Our client is a well-established, purpose-built nursing home dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care for older adults with nursing and dementia care needs. Holding a Good CQC rating, this nursing home has built a strong reputation for person-centred care and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Nurse Manager / Clinical Lead Nurse to join their leadership team. This is a key role within the home, offering a fantastic opportunity for a clinically strong nurse with proven leadership ability to take the next step in their career.

What Our Client Is Looking For

A current, unrestricted NMC registration (RGN/RN) is essential.

Demonstrable clinical skills , with the confidence to lead on complex nursing and dementia care needs.

Proven leadership skills , with experience managing or supervising nursing teams within a care home environment.

Previous experience working within a nursing home setting is essential.

A thorough understanding of CQC regulations and person-centred care principles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and families.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding care to older adults.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day clinical and operational running of the nursing home.

Providing strong clinical leadership, acting as a visible and supportive role model for nursing and care staff.

Overseeing and conducting comprehensive care assessments, person-centred care planning, and regular reviews.

Ensuring full compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements, and relevant legislation.

Working collaboratively with GPs, allied health professionals, residents, and their families to deliver holistic care.

Leading on clinical audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives across the home.

Supporting the recruitment, induction, mentoring, and ongoing development of the nursing team.

Deputising for the Home Manager in their absence, maintaining continuity of leadership and care.

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and right-to-work verification.
