Responsibilities
Prepare the surgical operating suite with drapes, medications, solutions, instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies, ensuring availability and functionality.
Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
Pass instruments to physicians during surgery, continually accounting for instrument and supply inventory.
Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory, if required.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) within twelve months of hire.
CPR – Basic Life Support.
Physical Demands : lift/carry up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 50 pounds.
