The Work You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to tight tolerances
Machine a variety of metal components across complex geometries
Perform tooling changes, offsets, and basic troubleshooting
Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
Conduct hand finishing and basic machine maintenance
Maintain job documentation, routers, and production logs
Contribute to Lean and 5S initiatives on the shop floor
Support quality, safety, and productivity goals
Machines, Controls & Software
You’ll work with:
Machines : CNC Mills, CNC Lathes (multi-brand)
Controls : Fanuc, Haas
Inspection Tools : Calipers, micrometers, height gauges
Documentation Tools : ERP/job router systems
What We’re Looking For
Required:
3+ years CNC machining experience
High school diploma or GED
Experience setting up and running CNC machines independently
Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision inspection tools
Strong organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred:
Associate’s degree or certificate in Tooling & Machining
Experience in a high‑mix, low‑volume production shop
Exposure to medical or aerospace machining standards
