SUMMARY

The Press Operator is responsible for set up and operations of a variety of hydraulic presses, lathes and other equipment to produce drawn and/or forged products to specification.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Operate Double acting presses and hydraulic presses.
Operate manual and CNC lathes
Operate belt and disc sanders
Operate Die sets
Apply specialized Lubrication
Operate part washers, vibratory machines and other cleaning equipment
Familiarize with precision measuring hand tools.
Keep work area clean and free of safety hazards
Operate forklift to load, unload and move tooling and material.
Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

High school graduate or equivalent in work experience.
Mechanical aptitude, math skills
Able to follow verbal and written instructions
Constant standing/walking/sitting for at least 10 hours.
Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 lbs, minimum 35 lbs.
Prolonged periods of repetitive movement are required.
Constant holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s).
ITAR REQUIREMENTS
