Job Description
Pay:
$25/hr-$27/hr
Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-5:30pm
Position:
Our Mold Repair employees are responsible for performing all maintenance/repair duties for production mold kits by performing the following duties.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs quality assurance inspections of molds paying special attention for any damage or defects to the mold
Performs thorough inspections on new molds to ensure all dimensions are intolerant
Required to use precision measuring equipment/tools to ensure all dimensions are in tolerance
All work is required to be documented
Inspects damaged parts, determines nature of repair and uses repair tools to rework or refinish worn or damaged parts
Apply proper mechanical techniques and ability to use power and hand tools to perform repairs, maintenance and/or renovation to molds
Completes scheduled cleaning of molds to assure optimum production output
Adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety guidelines
Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
3+ of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment;
POSITION SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE preferred
Experience with MIG, TIG and Stick welding
Ability to self-motivate, work autonomously and proactively.
Forklift Operating Experience (Preferred)
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
