
Automotive Technician

Paretti Land Rover of Baton Rouge is looking for experienced and career minded Technicians to join our team! We are a family-owned organization that has been in the New Orleans area for 90 years. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical and electronic issues.
Provide accurate time and cost estimates for repairs and service recommendations.
Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training when necessary.
Keep detailed records of all services and repairs performed.
Continuously improve service techniques to meet the highest industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
Minimum of ASE Certification preferred.
Previous Manufacturer Certification a plus.
Strong ability to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Road Test vehicles to quality check work performed as required.
Must be able to stay on top of technical bulletins that may apply to customer concerns.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Follows manufacturer repair steps and processes for all required repairs
Follow repair escalation process
Adheres to all factory warranty requirements including time punches, accurate documentation, and parts returns.
Maintains cleanliness of vehicles.
Keeps work area clean including service bay, tools, toolbox, and surrounding areas.
Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity.
