Shift information
The position is full‑time, working Monday‑Friday either five 8‑hour shifts or four 10‑hour shifts.
Call required.

What You Will Do
The CST is responsible for assuring quality patient care by coordinating with the circulator in the planning and implementation of patient care in the OR. Maintains AORN and AST standards to ensure patient safety at all times. Assists the surgeon with gowning and gloving, draping of the sterile field and performing technical tasks. This position has call requirements.
Required education
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program or completed an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the US Armed Forces or Public Health Service or was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility prior to September 2009.
Required skills
Ability to read, write and follow instructions; strong organizational skills.
Preferred skills
Meditech, faxing, scanning.
Required licensure / registration / certification
Certification as a Surgical Technologist and Basic Life Support.
Preferred licensure / registration / certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Preferred experience
One or more years as a CST in a hospital operating room.
