Overview
Engage Senior Therapy, a proud member of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners, is seeking a dedicated
Physical Therapist Assistant
to join our team, delivering compassionate care at assisted living facilities in Bedford, NH. This role focuses on empowering the geriatric and senior population to regain strength, mobility, and independence in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care, according to the therapist’s treatment plan.
Assist patients with walking, transferring, and dressing as necessary.
Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care.
Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards as required.
Deliver care at one or more assisted living locations, providing meaningful services to a diverse group of seniors.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies for maintaining functional independence and a better quality of life.
Document patient care services in compliance with state and facility standards using EMR.
Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, and workshops.

Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Active Physical Therapist Assistant license.
An interest in working with the senior population.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
