Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Behavioral Health Technician based in Austin, TX. The Behavioral Health Technician will provide direct support and care to clients, including implementing behavioral interventions, monitoring client progress, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. The role involves working collaboratively with clinical teams to implement treatment plans and communicate updates regarding the client's progress.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
Knowledge and experience in Behavioral Intervention and Psychology
Ability to implement evidence-based practices and adapt to individual client needs
Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent problem-solving skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or coursework in psychology or a related field is a plus
Previous experience in mental health or behavioral health settings is beneficial
