Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a major construction initiative involving the expansion and renovation of a large convention center facility. This individual will join the project at the beginning phase of construction and play a key role in document control, RFI and submittal management, and overall project coordination. The project is a long‑term, large‑scale build valued in the hundreds of millions, offering strong stability and the opportunity to convert to a permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid‑level construction professional looking to grow on a high‑visibility, multi‑year project.

Skills and Requirements

5–9 years of experience supporting construction projects

Experience working for a General Contractor (GC) or Owner

Strong document control background

Hands‑on experience with RFIs, submittals, file structures / document management systems

Experience on large‑scale construction projects ($10M–$100M+)

Ability to work 5 days onsite

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

Prior experience on convention center, large public, or municipal projects

Experience supporting projects in early construction phases

Long‑term project experience (multi‑year builds)
