
Patient Support Specialist - Hybrid

Job Summary
You’re a proactive problem‑solver who can make customers feel like a friend. In this role you will provide inbound customer support in a virtual pharmaceutical contact center, serving patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and clinic personnel. The position operates on a hybrid schedule: 2 days in our Newtown, PA office and 3 days remote.
Responsibilities
Provide timely and accurate responses to inbound calls, emails, and other communications from customers.
Build rapport and establish positive relationships with patients by actively listening, empathizing, and demonstrating a strong understanding of their needs and concerns.
Identify and resolve patient issues or escalate to appropriate internal teams as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions and transactions in the contact center software system.
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to pharmaceutical contact center operations, including data privacy and security requirements.
Essential Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience in customer service, call center operations, or related fields.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Desired Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
Schedule & Compensation
The hourly rate ranges from $20–23 per hour. Pay is based on qualifications, experience, and performance. The role may include eligibility for commissions or bonuses. The hybrid schedule requires presence in the Newtown office twice a week and remote work three times a week.
