Job Description: This is a grant-funded, non-tenure track position through July 31, 2028. This is a 2-year, term limited postdoctoral appointment with no expectation of continuation beyond the stated end date. Work Location: Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, Martin D. Woodin Hall, Baton Rouge Campus. Position Description: The Post Doctoral Researcher (2 year) positions primary purpose is to assist the faculty member with data management, analysis, and writing paper; support with mentoring and guiding research assistants and team members; and attend professional conferences, seminars, and workshops to present project findings. This position reports to the Dr. Raghav Goyal, Assistant Professor. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements: Ph.D. in Applied/Agricultural Economics, Economics, or related field completed by July 2026; candidate must contain strong theoretical and empirical research skills; candidate must have the ability to communicate research findings effectively through writing and presentations; evidence of research interest in at least one of the following areas: international and domestic agricultural trade, climate impacts, and supply chain resilience.
Salary and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. The LSU AgCenter has an attractive benefits package with a wide variety of benefit options.
