What You'll Do (Job Responsibilities)
As a Service Dispatcher, you play a key role in keeping our service department running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include:
Assign and dispatch repair orders to technicians based on skill level, availability, and workload
Monitor workflow in the service department to ensure timely completion of jobs
Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to manage priorities and expectations
Maintain an organized dispatch system to maximize shop productivity and efficiency
Track progress of vehicles and update service staff on job status
Reassign work as needed to meet deadlines and customer expectations
Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and workflow challenges
Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of repair orders
Support the service team in delivering an exceptional customer experience
