Position: Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of laboratory duties, supporting high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and take down assays following established protocols

Process specimens with accuracy and timeliness

Prepare and make slides for analysis

Set drug plates and ensure proper experimental setups

Perform Alamar Blue, MTT, ATP, and DISC assays

Maintain accurate and up-to-date charts and laboratory records

Make reagents and media as required for laboratory assays

Additional Responsibilities and Expectations
Lab Maintenance and Cleaning

Clean water baths, incubators, cytospins, and centrifuges

Calibrate balances and pipettes

Dispose of trash and biohazard materials appropriately

Cell Culture Support

Demonstrate strong aseptic technique

Prepare drug plates as needed

Work Schedule and Environment

Tues - Sat 9:00 - 5:30 with some flex time. This is subject to change.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings as required

Fast-paced setting requiring multitasking and efficiency

Emphasis on accuracy and independent problem solving

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or related field

Previous laboratory experienceFamiliarity with assay protocols and laboratory instrumentation

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
